Video: Tracy Morgan Gets Into Midtown Fender Bender In Brand New $2M Bugatti

The comedian was pretty furious immediately following the fender bender.

Actor Tracy Morgan was involved in a fender bender on Tuesday in Midtown, where he was driving a brand new $2 million Bugatti sports car he reportedly purchased that same day. The comedian was pretty furious with the other driver, as you can see in the video of the incident below.

An NYPD spokesperson confirmed the collision happened around 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of 42nd Street and Tenth Avenue in Manhattan yesterday. They described it as a "minor traffic accident" in which the two vehicles touched and "rubbed slightly" at the light. No one was injured in the crash, and no arrests were made.

But as you can see in the video, Morgan was shaken up enough to bang on the window of 61-year-old Jocelyn Madulid's Honda CR-V. "I was driving. I heard somebody hit me. I felt boom," she told the Post. "He was yelling at me, I got scared...I didn't yell anything back. I just stayed in my car." Madulid claims that Morgan hit her, not the other way around: "So what happened is we're both turning right. But I know he hit me because I was already [turning]. I was there, he was the one who hit me!"

Madulid added that she did not recognize Morgan at first. "I was just curious. The people were taking pictures of him and the car," she said. "I asked the traffic officer, why people taking pictures and he said, 'You don't watch TV? That's a famous guy.' Then there was a double-decker bus and the tourist guide was saying: 'Oh, that's Tracy Morgan!'"

Morgan was of course involved in a 2014 car crash that killed his friend and seriously injured him. Despite suffering from "severe brain injury," he was able to make a full recovery and return to TV. A Walmart driver pleaded guilty to falling asleep at the wheel, and Morgan and the company eventually settled the lawsuit over the crash.
