Nicholas Brooks, who is accused of killing his fashion designer girlfriend at the Soho House, had reportedly expressed concerns about going to jail, telling cops, "I'm Jewish and I'm worried about getting beat up by white supremacists. I watch the show 'Oz.' I've seen what happens in jail." Well, now a person who was visiting a relative at Rikers Island tells the Post that Brooks was "cry[ing] like a baby" and saying "how he wants to get out of here."
Brooks, 24, had pleaded not guilty to killing Sylvie Cachy, 33, whose body was found in a bathtub in a hotel room at the Meatpacking District club. The pair had checked into a room because Cachay's hair caught fire from candles Brooks placed in her apartment. While Brooks claimed that he left the room while Cachay was live (he aso says she was "too pilled out" as well), prosecutors say the evidence proves he was the killer.
The Post's source also confirms that, yes, other inmates at Rikers are eager to go to "mess up" Brooks: "Everybody was taunting him" during a bus ride, and saying, "You're a p---y! How could you kill a woman?"
