A 52-year-old man died after getting punched in the head, and now police are hoping to find two people for questioning.

On July 9th, around 5:45 p.m., police say that officers responded to a 911 call about a man assaulted at Riegelman Boardwalk East and Brighton 6th Street and found Dimitry Goldfarb on the ground, with trauma to the head.

Goldfarb was taken to Lutheran Hospital and then to Bellevue Hospital, where he died from his injuries. The NYPD says that the preliminary investigation says that Goldfarb was "punched in the head by an unknown male at the location, who then fled the scene on foot with an unidentified female northbound on Brighton 6th Street."

Goldfarb, who had a fractured skull, reportedly spoke to police before he died, saying he didn't know his attacker.

Police released footage of a man and woman of interest; the man is described as being in his 30s, 6', and 220 pounds with long brown hair (he was shirtless, and wearing grey shorts and black sneakers while carrying a red chair).

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this male is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
