Extra Extra: You still rockin' with the Yankees?
July 15, 2025, 3 p.m.
Because they've apparently lost their juice, here are your afternoon links: hot dog subway, moose on trail, sweaty books and more from around the city and internet.

It’s Tuesday afternoon in New York City, and East Williamsburg’s Our Wicked Lady is closing after 10 years.
Here’s what else is happening:
- Did you notice that the N, F and Q route lines make a hot dog shape at Coney Island on the new MTA subway map? Nathan’s did.
- A popular hiking trail in the Adirondacks has been closed for over a month because of a moose who refuses to leave, likely because of sickness.
- In more New Jersey housing news, Old Bridge township officials are considering building an affordable housing development on the site of a 60-year-old racetrack.
- New York City hotels are up.
- The New York Yankees hype is down.
- We’re making some progress with that +POOL.
- Sweaty books.
- And finally, they’re just part of the family now:
