Early Addition: Good luck retrieving something from the MTA lost and found

• New York Times reporters said they've witnessed other occasions where red envelopes of cash have been handed to reporters at Mayor Adams' campaign events.
• The MTA inspector general’s office said it turned in 24 "lost" items to transit workers last year and was only able to retrieve one of those items from the MTA's lost and found.
