A man was arrested after he allegedly livestreamed himself shooting a very big firearm into the air to impress his girlfriend in the Bronx last week.
Raul Agosto, 38, was reportedly filming himself on a livestream, alongside his girlfriend, when he fired off the .22-caliber Mossberg pistol around 4:30 a.m. Friday on Webster Avenue. Unfortunately for Agosto, officers from the 47th Precinct happened to be in the area; they heard the shot, chased him down and arrested him.
Fighting crime & keeping people safe never stops - even in America’s safest big city. Great job by @NYPD47Pct Anti-Crime Unit cops who heard several shots & saw a man run across Webster Avenue. In his bag: this illegal .22-cal. gun. He is now being held on bail at Rikers Island. pic.twitter.com/u4Z6s7HKmm

Agosto has been charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of an ammunition feeding device.
According to the Sportsman Outdoor Superstore, the Mossberg is "perfect for small game hunting, plinking or target shooting." Nothing on the website about impressing the ladies.
The 47th Precinct wrote on Twitter, "The outstanding work by our Anti-Crime team continues. In the right right place at the right time. Our Officers interrupted gunfire and safely made the arrest."
