Service on the 7 subway line was severely delayed during Monday morning's rush hour due to a person struck by a train at the Grand Central–42nd Street station, the MTA said.
Trains were temporarily suspended between the Hudson Yards station in Manhattan and Hunters Point Avenue station in Queens, but had resumed by shortly after 8 a.m.
The delays were affecting trains in both directions, according to the MTA.
The LIRR was cross-honoring MetroCard and OMNY users at no additional cost between the Penn Station/Grand Central Madison and Flushing–Main Street stations.
