Two men and a woman were wounded, while a child fell and was injured in the incident.

A woman, two men and a child were injured during a shooting in East Harlem late Thursday at what appeared to be an outdoor barbecue, according to NYPD officials.
The gunfire erupted just before 9 p.m. in front of an apartment building on East 122nd Street near Third Avenue, police said.
First responders found a 25-year-old woman, a 33-year-old man and a 36-year-old man all shot in their right legs. A 3-year-old boy sustained minor injuries from falling during the incident, officials said.
The woman and 33-year-old man were taken to Metropolitan Hospital in stable condition, while the 36-year-old man and 3-year-old boy were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
Police have not announced any arrests but said they were looking for a man who was wearing all-black clothing during the shooting. They also said they were still investigating what led to the violence.
An NYPD official with knowledge of the incident said it did not appear to fit the profile of teen and crew-based violence that the community has been trying to dispel. Local anti-gun violence organizations said they were working early Friday to prevent any possible retaliation.
Shootings in the NYPD’s 25th Precinct, which covers the northern part of East Harlem, were down 33% as of July 6 compared to the same period last year, according to police data. Citywide, shootings have fallen 23% since last year.
