Entenmann's Not-So-Tastefully Tweets About Casey Anthony
July 5, 2011, 5:17 p.m.
In which Entenmann's baked good tried to tap into the brouhaha surrounding the Casey Anthony trial, and failed.

Entenmann's, the low-priced, Brooklyn-based pastry company, took advantage of the brouhaha surrounding the Casey Anthony case today, tweeting "Who's #notguilty about eating all the tasty treats they want?!" Classy move from a company known for manufacturing something called Pop 'Ems.
The company has since removed the offending tweet and apologized, tweeting "Sorry everyone, we weren't trying to reference the trial in our tweet! We should have checked the trending hashtag first." Suuure. Because Entenmann's couldn't have possibly been trying to pull a Spirit Airlines, right?
