[UPDATE BELOW] ALERT ALERT ALERT: After yesterday's delicious #IceTheBern success in Union Square, Ben & Jerry's founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield will be handing out FREE Bernie Sanders-themed ice cream in Washington Square Park from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. today:

The ice cream is mint chocolate chip flavored, and it is free. That's all you need to know. GOGOGOGOGOGOGO.

Update 3:12 p.m.: The bad news is, you might have to sign up to volunteer for Bernie if you want the ice cream. "It's different at every event, depending on the Bernie staff -- but that is what happened yesterday," a spokesperson tells us. "I believe they will be doing that again today."
