Video: Johnny Depp Plays Donald Trump In New Surprise Film

Johnny Depp makes a surprisingly great Donald.
Donald Trump scored a massive, if predictable, win in last night's New Hampshire Primary contest, which means that we're going to have to endure yooge amounts of media coverage of the candidate for the foreseeable future. The newest, and strangest bit of Trump-spin comes in the form of a 50 minute mock-biopic from Funny Or Die. It's called The Art of the Deal: The Movie and stars Johnny Depp as The Donald himself, thanks to an absolutely fantastic wig job.
The video sports the characteristic fuzziness of 1980s cable television and features the talents of Patton Oswalt, Andy Richter, Michaela Watkins, and Henry Winkler. It opens with narrator Ron Howard telling us that the film had been made in the '80s, around the same time that Trump's iconic book The Art Of The Deal was published, but had been lost to time for decades. Lucky for us, though, it exists, and you can watch all 50 glorious and confusing minutes of it below.
"It was a crazy, completely nuts idea that somehow we pulled off,” director and Funny Or Die co-founder Adam McKay told the Times in an interview. The Art of the Deal: The Movie was kept secret for months, and reportedly filmed during a four-day gap in Depp's December schedule.
