The largest pumpkins in North America will be at the NYBG this weekend.
Ray Villafane is like the Rembrandt of pumpkin carving, tackling gourds both big and small, with tiny instruments and chainsaws. He's been doing some carving over at the New York Botanical Garden, and this weekend you can check out his Haunted Pumpkin Garden, which will feature "the largest pumpkins from North America." Click through for a preview, and below you can see him working on and discussing his creeeeeepy creations.
The NYBG has other Halloween-related events this weekend, like the "Spooky Nighttime Adventures," where families can explore the Everett Children's Adventure Garden at night with flashlights!
