<em>Saturday Night Live</em> Announces New Weekend Update Co-Anchor

Current head writer Colin Jost will take Seth Meyer's spot and join Cecily Strong behind the Weekend Update desk after Meyer's final appearance on Feb. 1st.
Better get used to seeing this guy's face
Saturday Night Live can't stop, won't stop adding new faces this season: first there were the six new castmembers, then they added Sasheer Zamata and two new female black writers, and now they've announced the newest Weekend Update co-anchor. Current head writer Colin Jost will take Seth Meyer's spot and join Cecily Strong behind the desk after Meyer's final appearance on Feb. 1st.
Jost, a 2004 graduate from Harvard University who was also president of the Harvard Lampoon, has been a writer on the show since 2005, and head writer since 2012. He wrote and stars in the film Staten Island Summer, coming out later this year, which apparently features Ashley Greene in a bikini. And he also has been dating Rashida Jones, as if you needed another reason to hate him.
